DMS 550 passed her MOT today at midday meaning she returns to the road after 20 years absence. Look out for her at the Thanet Vintage Bus Roadrun this year.
Today we attended our second rally of the season when we paid a visit to the Colne Valley Railway in Essex. We used one of Jake's Metrocab Taxis instead of a bus purely due to the fuel costs for the distance (250 mile round trip!) and the ability to travel at reasonable speed on the motorway! As you may have seen in the news, the railway is currently under threat of closure at the end of the year due to the landowners wanting to sell the site to property developers. If you haven't already visited here please do so. This is a very friendly little railway with well presented and unique rolling stock. We hope to return later in the year to another show there and wish all the staff and volunteers good luck in remaining in situ.
Here you will find out the latest news about our buses and future events we hope to attend. In addition we will add any interesting bus and coach related news we come across.
