As stated earlier, we've been busy moving vehicles around. At HQ today Boo the Tiger coach and Nuw the Titan were moved around, Nuw will soon be moved to undercover accommodation for the winter to allow her bodywork to be restored. Once DMS550 is completed later this year she will swap places with Boo.

We apologise for the lack of updates recently.  Lots of fleet movements taking place at the moment a progress report will be posted in due course!

In July we picked up another new bus! This time it was an M&D Leyland Olympian K909 SKR. She has previously worked for West Kent Buses, West Kingsdown. (Who bought T553 from Fleetlink and sold her onto Roberts Coaches)

She was swiftly picked up from West Kent and taken to Alton Bus rally which was the following weekend. The brief report can be found in the Events Page.

Nick's Dennis Dominator has departed SCOC HQ and returned to our west Kent base to be with his other buses. If all goes to plan, N715TPK should be at Showbus later this month. For her first full season in preservation, 5215 has had a really busy and fantastic time. She was launched at the Thanet Road Run and has attended most of the local shows this season.
WKO137S was moved from HQ to nearby undercover accommodation for the winter period. Here she joins 7980, 1178, 40306 and DMS550 as well as several former East Kent AEC Regents and a Bridgemaster. A few minor jobs to tidy her up for next year are needed in addition to a tyre change. The undercover parking will help conserve her original M&D applied livery for several more years. Soon Nuw the Titan and one other vehicle will join her there.

We had a great day here on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. We took Nick's Dominator 5215.

Some great news is that Robin Harrison's Southern Vectis Iveco minibus has passed her not on 3rd September. She's based back on the island again and Robin plans to attend many shows in her, on the island and maybe the mainland too if possible.
