We will soon be getting our heads together to start planning for this (and other events) in 2015. Obviously we don't want to clash with any other shows so we'll be waiting for them to announce dates first.
The show season may well be over for us this year but we can always look back to the sunny summer months when our buses were out and about...
Following on from the problems with 1145's power steering, 5807 is having similar issues with her throttle pipework. Series 2 VRs normally have hydraulic throttles and the pipes for this have rotted badly allowing the fluid to leak out. This will all have to be replaced with new pipework. On the plus side, her engine has been run for several hours now and is running so much smoother since the filters were changed with no cutting out or fuel starvation.
Welcome to the underside of NPD 145L. Where most people seem to spend the most time under these days. She is currently off with more power steering trouble. One pipe has already been replaced, but another one has found to be faulty. We are thinking the connectors have gone and not the pipes. Although still tested, our intentions are not to run her next year and tidy everything up on it and give it a service.
Here you will find out the latest news about our buses and future events we hope to attend. In addition we will add any interesting bus and coach related news we come across.
