On 15th June we attended the Dover Transport Museum bus rally which is held in conjunction with the East Kent Railway and includes a free bus service between the two sites. This really is a great day out and the museum has so much to look at with cars, commercials, models and loads of other exhibits. If you're in east Kent area pay them a visit, details on their website HERE. Same applies with the East Kent Railway. If like us you grew up with Southern Region electric trains then this place is for you. A 4-BEP and a 2-EPB are just some of what they have there. We took along two of Nick's buses, N715TPK and NPD145L and had a great day.

As our Facebook friends would've seen, N715TPK has made a welcome return to the collection. This is the penultimate Dennis Dominator built (the last being N716TPK which was scrapped.). This Cummins L10 engined beast was re-acquired by Nick Moore a few months ago but was only launched at the road run on 25th May. She is currently based at SCOC HQ and will be at Dover Transport Museum on 15th June as well as maybe putting in an appearance at Preston Steam Rally on 28th and 29th June. She's a lovely bus, very smooth, very quiet and VERY fast.
Due to her ongoing rear axle/ diff problems, Nick Moore has reluctantly decided to sell his Dennis Dominator on. It would have been a rather awkward and EXPENSIVE job to replace all the parts to get her mobile again, although this was looked at in detail by Nick, he felt that it wasn't practical to do this. Nick is currently on the hunt for a replacement for the Dennis.
