We'd like to welcome this elderly ex West Yorkshire Bristol VR to our collection.  Recently acquired by Nick,  she will be started on once MFN41R has passed her MOT.  Although she looks tatty,  the majority of the work is cosmetic and electrical.  One of the biggest jobs will be replacing the upper deck floor.

MFN41R Update.

Paul,  Andy,  Ian and Jake have been very busy working on East Kent's first VR over the last week.  Inside,  the lower deck has been stripped out and cleaned ready for the seating to go back in.  Upstairs,  the new kitchen is taking shape as well as the toilet and seating bay. Meanwhile,  outside, the drag link has been changed due to a faulty ball joint,  an air leak has been fixed and the broken emergency door has been secured. We're hoping to put her up for MOT soon.

Motor Madness Sandwich 2015

A bit late with this one,  but on 20th and 21st June,  Claire,  Jake and Paul attended this new show at Sandwich Showground in Kent.  For a first time show this was a really great weekend and we look forward to attending this one next year too.  Sadly Preston Steam Rally was cancelled this year due to various factors but should return at a new venue next year.  This obviously left a large hole in our events diary,  however, this was filled by working on the new bus and a paranormal investigation in Romford.

Sparks!

Paul and Jake had a busy day yesterday replacing and rewiring the EP box and gearbox on a future member of the collection. Fortunately there were no sparks as the title suggests but reverse gear and first and second were wired in with the others being marked up.  This will be just enough to drive it out of the yard and onto the wrecker where,  if all goes well,  a tow to HQ will follow. Then we may reveal all!
